What is Home-IP?
The Home IP service is a shared service allowing UC Berkeley faculty, staff and students to access Campus Network and Internet Resources from their computers, at home and in the field, over standard telephone lines using high-speed modems.
Who can subscribe to Home-IP?
Only faculty, staff and registered students of UC Berkeley are eligible for Home IP accounts. If you are a faculty member of a different UC campus, you won't be able to use the automated account creation program, but you may be eligible for a Home IP Courtesy Account.
